A Different rhGH

Some people treat Jintropin™ AQ as reconstituted Jintropin, it is totally wrong. Actually, Jintropin™ AQ is liquid formulation growth hormone, same as Lilly's Humatrope Pen and Genentech's Nutropin AQ™, which is kept at liquid formulation during all the manufacturing process. Therefore the hGH in AQ are all in its natural active form, never being damaged by freeze-drying lyophilization process, which is known to damage hGH potency (please note that in all hGH instructions, they tell you never freeze your hGH, that's why).

Jintropin™ AQ differs from Jintropin powder in many aspects; here we would like to show you the key differences, hope it can give you a better understanding of Jintropin™ AQ and its advantages comparing normal powder form Jintropin and all the other lyophilized powder growth hormone.

	Avoid lyophilization process, higher potency

A Better rhGH

Higher Biological Activity

Jintropin™ AQ’s biological activity is higher than normal powder form of rhGH.

	The potency of Jintropin AQ was tested against normal powder form of hGH by rat body weight gain assay. It clearly tells that the rats receiving AQ gains more weight in 1-2 weeks than normal powder form of hGH. The following animal experiment is designed to research Jintrpin AQ's activity in promoting growth in hypophysectomized rats, which is the classical way of testing hGH potency published in USP. Group 1 is positive control group (The rats in this group have an operation, but their pituitary gland are untouched); Group 2 is model group (The rats in this group have an operation and their pituitary gland were cut). They were injected daily with same normal saline. Group 3 is Jintropin™ AQ group with daily injection of Jintropin™ AQ; Group 4 is Generic hGH powder group with daily injection of Generic hGH powder. After 14 days, we measure the weight and height of the rats. The results are showing below:

	Obviously, you can find that the rats in Group 3: Jintropin™ AQ group gains more weight and height than group 2 and group 4. Their tails are also longer.
	Conclusion
	Comparing to normal powder rhGH, Jintropin™ AQ has higher biological activity. Its activity to promote the growth of hypophysectomized rat is most potent.

Lower Antibody Formation

Jintropin™ AQ has better clinical effect and lower antibody formation.

Normal lyophilized powder rhGH, because it contains trace amount of rhGH aggregates, would always generate slight amount of rhGH antibodies in small percentage of people (about 1-2% of the people). Antibodies to rhGH will compromise the long term benefit of rhGH.(check under Beware of antibodies to hGH). However, Jintropin™ AQ doesn't cause any formation of antibodies because it contains absolutely no rhGH aggregates.

Conclusion

In Jintropin™ AQ group, there is no antibody formation at all.
