| Granmac™ is manufactured by GenSci using the patented E.coli secretion expression system. Granmac™ is a highly purified preparation of recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (rhGM-CSF) produced by recombinant DNA technology. The amino acid sequence of Granmac™ molgramostim is identical to that of GM-CSF produced naturally in the human body. Granmac™ has the biological and pharmacological features equivalent to those of natural GM-CSF in vivo or in vitro. GM-CSF is a hematopoietic growth factor which stimulates proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells. Granmac™ is used to accelerate the production of white blood cells in patients. |
