Jintrirelin™ triptorelin acetate contains an acetate salt of triptorelin as the active ingredient. Triptorelin is a synthetic decapeptide analogue of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) or luteinizing hormone releasing hormone (LHRH). Jintrirelin™ is formulated as a sterile colorless transparent solution. As a result of the substitution of the 6th amino acid residue in the native molecule, the agonistic effect of Jintrirelin™ is more pronounced with its plasma half-life prolonged.
